Jeffrey Kofman
Jeffrey Kofman (born May 20, 1959) is an Emmy-winning foreign correspondent and war correspondent. Since leaving ABC News in 2014 he has been CEO and Co-Founder of (Trint ), a London, U.K.- based tech startup focused on opening automated speech-to-text to new markets including journalism. He continues to be active in journalism as a writer and commentator and as a political analyst for BBC News. He is also a university lecturer.

As London-based correspondent for ABC News he reported on stories in the U.K. and Europe as well as the Middle East and Africa for ABC broadcasts including ''World News with Diane Sawyer'', ''Nightline'' and ''Good Morning America''. Prior to his assignment overseas, Kofman spent 10 years based in Miami for ABC News as correspondent for Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America. While at ABC News he has won two Emmys, an Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia Award and a Peabody Award.
He moved to ABC's London bureau in January 2010 where he covered the Arab revolutions in North Africa from Tunisia, Libya and Egypt. He has reported from South Africa, Kenya, Norway, Sweden and Italy and the Indian Ocean.
In 2011 he won an Emmy for his coverage of the Libyan Revolution and the downfall of Col. Muammar Gadhafi. Kofman covered the revolution in Libya from its beginning to its end. He reported from Tripoli as Gadhafi struggled to sustain his brutal dictatorship. He was there when Gadhafi was overthrown and he returned when Gadhafi was killed. He was also in Libya when U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was killed on September 11, 2012.
